Class 1 has implemented many progressive quality and production systems. In addition to our ISO 9001 Certification, we were the first company in Canada certified to the new ISO 13485:2003 Standard for the manufacture of Medical Devices in compliance with Health Canada’s CMDCAS program.

Class 1 is licensed by Health Canada as a manufacturer of Medical Devices.  The company is also licenced by Health Canada as a distributor of Medical Devices.

Class 1 is certified by TSSA to manufacture fittings in compliance with CSAZ305.1 and ASME B31.1.

The company maintains a certified quality assurance program and is licensed by TSSA for the Shop Fabrication, Field Installation and Erection of Power Piping Systems in accordance with CSA B51, and ASME B31.1.

The company maintains a certified quality assurance program and is licensed by TSSA for the Shop Fabrication, Field Installation and Erection of Medical Gas Piping Systems in accordance with CSA B51, and CSA Z7396.1.

Class 1 Medical Supply Units are UL listed for both the U.S. and Canada and are CRN registered.

The company has CSA International Certification for industrial control panels for both the U.S. and Canada.
