BUSINESS CONTROLLER

MISSION

The Business Controller’s mission is to lead the Finance/Credit functions of the organization, including providing leadership of financial management systems, financial reporting requirements, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, efficiency projects and return on investment. You will be responsible for implementing analysis tools and KPIs for the operating teams. As Business Controller you will report directly to the General Manager of Class 1 Inc. a subsidiary of Atlas Copco Canada Inc. You will be a key member of the Management Team and will be a driving force for the Company’s overall performance and image.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-Secondary Degree in related field (Business Administration, Economics, etc.) or similar academic background
  • 5 years of previous experience as a Business Controller or equivalent position (previous Atlas Copco, Construction, and/or Manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract may be required
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check may be required

  • Proven business financial analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER

MISSION

Our team members are entrepreneurial in mindset, passionate about Class 1 Inc., and committed to our growth. The Mechanical Systems Design Engineer will design Medical Gas/Air systems and provide up-to-date information and documentation at product release and during the life cycle of our products. You will provide and maintain quality control, technical support, and service bulletin releases. The role will involve ensuring that engineering queries are dealt with in a timely manner and that any activity through the engineering change process is made efficiently and accurately. Our Engineering team members support a spirit of open communication of engineering changes throughout the organization and individuals in all areas of operation. You will also support the development of the Class 1 Inc. product and customer company into a design centre for Medical Gas Products and realize synergies between divisional group companies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an engineering or technologist role within manufacturing environment
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract may be required
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check may be required

TRAVEL

  • Based in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
  • Periodic travel outside of Canada and/or continental North America may be required for training and project work
