We are currently looking for an uber-organized and motivated Project Coordinator to ensure that we remain "First in Mind - First in Choice" in our segment.

The Project Coordinator manages, tracks, and reports tasks supporting the on-time and successful delivery of customer orders for medical gas systems, architectural products, accessories, and general equipment as required. • Post-Secondary Diploma in related field (Project Management, Marketing, Business Development, for example)
• 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity

We are currently looking for a dynamic problem solver to play an important role in helping our medical gas customers overcome technical issues onsite at healthcare facilities in Western Canada.


The position will remote by nature but centered around the Edmonton, AB region.


Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, this role will work with our existing team to manage the service and aftermarket business in the territory. This could include; preventative maintenance, emergency servicing, on-call telephone support, prospecting new business and creating quotations on various Medical Supply Systems and their control panels at Class 1 Inc.’s hospital, medical facilities, and other customer locations. This position places a strong focus on presenting a positive attitude to our customers and service team and must have knowledge and technical skills for troubleshooting (by phone or on sites) the repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. After training, this role must also be able to propose and carry out corrective action needed for repair within safety guidelines and on site protocols for equipment warranty support, maintenance and repair in medical environments.


  • A ‘Customer first’ attitude with ability to maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a positive attitude with customers, industry peers, and fellow employees
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical servicing (HVAC certification, millwright, or other relevant ticket considered an asset)
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in the knowledge, concepts, procedures, troubleshooting and repair techniques, for electrical and mechanical systems to diagnose equipment problems and/or failures
  • Electrical control circuit knowledge considered an asset
  • Experience with the , CAN / CSA Standard Z7396.1 – 17 (Medical Gas Pipeline Systems) is an asset
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints, colour-coded controls schematics, and as built drawings
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the application of tools, test equipment and meters to effectively Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong reasoning skills based on theory and equipment design specifications
  • Intermediate working knowledge and knowhow using laptops and mobile devises with programs such as MS Teams, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record. Abstract will be required.
  • May be required to have Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check

We are currently looking for a dynamic leader to further develop the Service operations and aftermarket sales of our medical gas customers in healthcare facilities across Canada.


The Business Line Manager - Aftermarket (BLM) will develop and grow Class 1 Inc.’s operations, aftermarket sales, and technical service functions across Canada to drive profitable growth in accordance with divisional targets and objectives. The BLM will also ensure that Class 1 Inc. continues to be recognized as the market leader in providing excellent customer service with highly competent personnel and maintain our, "First in Mind and First in Choice," organizational vision.

As the BLM for Aftermarket (QMS), you will report directly to the General Manager and be a key member of the Strategic Management team. Therefore, you will be a driving force for the Company’s overall performance with specific focus on maintaining the image for Class 1 Inc.’s service operations and leading the Facility Services team.  You will work in close collaboration with all other functional areas within the organization including Operations/Production; Sales; Installation; R&D; and technical support.


  • A ‘customer first’ attitude with ability to maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a positive attitude with customers, industry peers, and fellow employees
  • Ability to think outside the box complimented with a “Safety First” approach
  • Result-oriented and experienced professional with proven track record in service business and operations or P&L responsibility as Business Line Manager an asset
  • Proven track record of strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills, sound commercial awareness and a drive for team success
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, negotiating, and networking skills
  • Ability to manage people by creating trustworthy and fair relationships


  • Fluent in English and French would be a considerable asset
  • Strong communication skills and advanced computer literacy
  • Hands on working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Office 365 or similar back office tools a plus
  • Good understanding of systems tools and operational processes
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and preparation for Business Review Meetings considered an advantage
  • Medical Gas systems or other similar positive displacement equipment and aftermarket knowledge is an advantage
  • Medical Gas industry knowledge and/or regulatory reporting, such as CSA Z7396.1_17 is a strong asset


  • Extensive travel across Canada and internationally as required
